| Under the names of DACollection and DAStore a collection of digital media art with an integrated art store is emerging in Basel. This website is their electronic show-room and catalog. The DACollection collects international and local artwork relevant to the development of digital media art. It's also intended to be a national archive for the historical activities of the Swiss media art scene and is - together with our research, texts and links - available for all kinds of study projects. In the DAStore we offer a growing selection of digital art for sale. Our products include objects and installations, internet-based productions and computer-generated animations. In the DAStore we create, together with artists and collectors, packages for purchase where issues such as ownership, reproducibility and conservation of the product are regulated. |
